About us
The Backyard Grill is a locally owned family restaurant specializing in BURGERS, BEER & FUN. We opened in the summer of 2001 to provide quality food and beverage service, earn guest loyalty, and support our LOCAL Houston TX COMMUNITY.
In our 24 years, we've weathered storms, freezes, recessions, and Covid — and our commitment to this community has never been stronger. We proudly support Cy-Hope, Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, Reach Unlimited, Cy-Fair Helping Hands, Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, Cy-Fair ISD, and more.
We run the best beer program in Cy-Fair with 48 beers on tap and 50+ bottles. Join the BYG BREW CREW — drink all 42 drafts and get your name on the wall — or tackle The Brewmeister club with 42 bottles. Ask your server to join.
Our Bucket of Destruction is our own line of HOT SAUCES — ask your server to bring one to sample, or grab one from the BYG Texas Store, along with our house-made spices.
Join us weekly: TACO TUESDAY with ½ off Draft Beer 11–7, Kids Eat Free Wednesdays 4-close, Whiskey Wednesday, Margarita Thursdays, and LIVE MUSIC Friday nights.

Since 2001, The Backyard Grill has welcomed families, friends, and neighbors with classic American dishes, craft beer, craft cocktails, and one of the area's largest whiskey selections. Our scratch kitchen prepares every meal with care, while our commitment to the Cy-Fair community continues through local fundraising efforts and partnerships with organizations including CY-HOPE and the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation.
